Author's Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: The piano, beautiful. The voice, hair-raising. The words, ingenious.
Cons: Rumor has it that unrestrained, vividly expressed feelings aren't always easy to listen to.
The Bottom Line: Buy Little Earthquakes, as it is mind-blowing. Just don't spill orange juice on your copy, like I did.

Pros: Stunning vocals, lyrics and piano playing.
Cons: "Mother" is a drag, and "Me and a Gun" too painful to listen to.
The Bottom Line: A truly excellent debut that rightfully took Tori Amos to a wide audience.
