Pros: IS, image sharpness, usability, smooth and fast focus
Cons: weight, price, target for theft
The Bottom Line: Quality comes at a price. If you are seeking professional images, this lens is a must. If you are only a casual photographer, consider a less costly alternative.

Cons: Expensive, scares children, impossible to be inconspicuous.
The Bottom Line: Big, tough, sharp and fast, this is one of Canon's most technologically advanced lenses. You'll pay for it though. Just try not to spook the kids.
