Better Than Bissell
Pros: No chemicals, no buckets, great swivel head design, all-around awesome mop
Cons: NONE Full review My trusty old Bissell steam mop finally died, so I found this on the internet, took a chance and ordered it. Bissell had a major design flaw: The mop pad shrunk unbelievably after washing and drying, to the point where you either had to wrestle with the mop to get it on (about 5 minutes) or just buy new pads. The Reliable's mop head is a breeze to get on, and you can wash it in HOT water and throw it in the dryer with no problem. No more working up a sweat getting the pad on the mop. In addition, the mop head is a triangular shape. I thought it was weird until I used it--it is actually brilliant. It gets into every crack and crevice, plus it swivels. My goal was to get a steam mop as good as, or better than Bissell. I have a small child and pets, and I do not like to use chemicals on my floor. You are cleaning with just steam, and it works wonderfully. Remember never to use it on wood floors that are not sealed. You will love this mop! I give this product an A++. (I can't comment on the durability as this is a new product. I had a hard time finding any reviews of this for myself when I started looking around.) FYI--Check the internet thoroughly to find the best price. I paid $89.00 plus shipping, but I found it going for $150.00+ on some sites. |
